What do you think Heaven is like?

This is good question, there are many references in both the Old and New testaments which refer to Heaven. I have come to the following conclusions:

It is a big place - to contain all us who have become Christians, Angels, old testament prophets etc. etc.
|
|
It will be a happy place - Jesus talks about Heaven in terms of there being no more crying or sorrow there.
|
|
There will be feasting - The bible talks about "the wedding banquet of the Lamb" which seems to indicate a giant spread. Think of your favourite food. Mine is Kentucky Fried Chicken, think of something even better and that should be what to expect in Heaven!

People say “will it not be boring”. The Bible is clear here it says the following " No ear has heard no eye has seen what God has prepared for his people"

I can't wait.

When will Jesus come back?

The bible says that no one knows the time or season. It also says that God will not return until the entire world has heard the Gospel message

Why don't I wait and make a decision when I am older?
|
|
The number of times people have asked me this question. My answer is always what happens if something happened to you tonight, would you be ready to face God. If you have not asked Jesus to forgive you your sins you are in trouble. Jesus doesn't just give us eternal life when we become christians and it starts then, he also gives you a great life while you are on the earth. Far from being restrictive it is really full and exciting.
